Presenter Biographies

Joshua Freeney 5 years experience in PC game design and development with 2 years flash experience (as2, as3). Currently an instructor at Ferris Grand Rapids teaching Actionscript 3.0

Jake Pollak Is a creative, an educator, and an entreprenuer. He is a networker, a manager, a businessman, and a teacher. He has many years of experience in graphic design, video production, web design, computer programming, project management, system integration, marketing, and business. marketing, and business.

Jake is an adjunct professor at Ferris State Grand Rapids, and sits on advisory boards for Schoolcraft College, the Art Institue of Michigan, and Breihaupt Technical Center (Detroit Public Schools). He is a Member at Large and a Past Chair of the ACM/SIGGRAPH Professional Chapter of Southeastern Michigan, and a former President of the Southeast Michigan Animation and Effects Group (SEMAFX). Jake sits on the ACM/SIGGRAPH Education Committee, has the position of Marketing and Sponsorship Coordinator for the ACM/SIGGRAPH Education Committee and has held the position of ACM/SIGGRAPH Student Animation Competition Coordinator(SPACE-Time).

Joe Johnson A User Experience Specialist at Universal Mind, an elite group of technologists who excel at solving the difficult challenges of building and optimizing advanced Adobe web applications. Joe has been using AIR/Flex when it was in the beta stages and uses it daily on his projects. He also finds it exciting to build applications to create unique user interaction.
